Production Coordinator

Job Description

  • Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to the production team

  • Performing employee evaluation and training

  • Ensuring all safety standards are met

  • Maintaining a healthy and clean working environment

  • Safeguarding physical and information properties

  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production

  • Collaborating with the materials team. quality team, the engineering team to achieve smooth production

  • Evaluating process for continuous improvement

  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations

  • Setting productivity goals

  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality

  • Coordinating RMA and inbound/outbound logistics

  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of team

Qualification

  • Experience in one-piece flow

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proven record in training employees in safety, security, and production

  • Ability to coach and motivate employees

  • Excellent assembly skills

  • .Knowledgeable of electrical/mechanical design drawings, metal fabrication methods, and QC procedures

  • Understanding lean manufacturing / Toyota Production System

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field.
