An associate degree with experience. Ability to read schematics, and follows production drawings.
High Power Technician Job Description
Setup facility and instrumentation for testing
Exercise electrical safety protocols
Perform function testing, hipot testing, burn-in testing, and validation according to the test procedures
Record/report the test result
Assist in continuous improvement of test procedures and test facility
Execute product quality control and quality assurance
Organize/maintain tools, equipment, and facility
Qualification
BS degree or Associate degree with experience in electrical circuit and testing. High voltage experience is a plus. Ability to read work orders, follows production drawings, written/verbal instructions, and sample assemblies. Electronic instruments and mechanical hand tools experience.
General
US citizenship or green card required.
Avid self-learner, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and complete tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivated, self-reliant, and honest.
